Sit-Rise-Fit is a wellness and functional-movement screening tool that scores the Sit-to-Rise Test and offers exercise guidance. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your data. In short: your video is never recorded or stored, and all scoring happens on your own device.
The app uses your device camera only to estimate a body-pose skeleton in real time, directly on your device. The camera image is processed frame by frame and is never saved, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere. When a measurement ends, only the abstract skeleton (numeric joint coordinates) and the computed score are kept.
Pose estimation and Sit-to-Rise scoring run entirely in your browser/app on your device, using an embedded model. No image or video leaves the device for scoring.
Your measurement history (skeleton data, scores, and the questionnaire answers you enter) is stored locally on your device (in the app's local storage). It is not sent to us and is not accessible to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app's history or its site data.
If — and only if — you choose to tap "send for review", the app transmits your skeleton data, computed score, and questionnaire profile (never any video) to our review service so a physiotherapist can validate the exercise guidance. This is entirely optional and only happens on your explicit action. No name, email, or account is required.
The app has no login or user accounts. It contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking or advertising identifiers. We do not sell or share data with third parties.
Camera — used solely for live, on-device pose estimation during a measurement. The camera turns off automatically when the measurement ends. No audio is recorded.
Sit-Rise-Fit is intended for general wellness and functional-movement screening. It does not provide a medical diagnosis, does not replace professional medical advice, and is not a medical device. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
